Read the Labels for Fast Dieting

Many people walk around supermarkets with blinkers on and don’t read labels when buying their weekly groceries.  There are hidden fats and calories in a lot of the food we buy on a regular basis without us realising it.

The best rule of thumb, although this is not always possible, is don’t buy food that comes in a box.  Fresh lean meat and fresh or frozen vegetables are the way we used to eat and is the way we should be always.

Keep Breakfast and Lunch Small

Portion control plays a big part in weight loss.  If you keep your breakfast calories to around 300 calories and your lunch calories to approximately 500 calories, this will enable you to have your dinner at around 1000 calories on a regular diet.

The Sweet Tooth Dilemma

Most people have a sweet tooth at some time or other.  That’s fine and most people have no trouble controlling that sweet tooth.  Again, portion control comes into it.  You can still buy that block of chocolate but you have to learn self control and have only a small piece and learn to enjoy that small piece.  I have seen chocolates in supermarkets that are only 100 calories each.  A great idea.  You still get your sweet tooth fix, but within healthy limits.

Wind Up the Exercise Routine

For those sedentary people out there, you still can’t get away with not exercising if you want fast effective weight loss.  Start with just 20 minutes per day and you will soon notice a huge different in your weight loss.  If you continue at the 20 minutes per day for a few weeks, then start working up to 30 minutes and up to 10 minute increments, your fast effective weight loss will be even more noticeable and will really burn up those calories.
