Achieving weight loss quickly is always a challenge.  To basically change the way you do things and the way you eat is a daunting task, but a task that can be achieved nonetheless.  Possibly an easier way to achieve weight loss quickly and reach that goal is to have a motivator behind you helping you to stay on track.  How about the following easy steps that came from a motivator who only thinks about what is best for you?

Set A Goal:

Establish a sensible goal to achieve and a reasonable timeframe in which to achieve it.  Weight loss quickly can be achieved but you don’t want to use a crash diet to achieve this goal.  It is not always the healthy way to lose weight.  Slow and steady wins the race, especially if you have a large amount of weight to lose.

Get off those scales!

Only weigh yourself one a week – perhaps on the same day every week.  Don’t weigh yourself every day as your weight fluctuates daily caused by other factors and not necessarily because you are consuming less fat and calories.  Fluid retention can cause weight fluctuations.

Get a Support Person

Your path to weight loss can be immensely more enjoyable if you have a friend to support you along the way, especially if you have a lot of weight to lose and that is not a short journey.  When you feel yourself weakening, a buddy can help you stay on track and keep you motivated.  You can swap recipes with your motivator and maintain your exercise regime with a buddy who will exercise with you.  If you know you have to turn up at the same time every day because someone is waiting for you, you are less inclined to let them down.

Become A Positive Thinker:

Don’t think about how much you have to lose and expect weight loss quickly.  Think about how much you are going to lose this week.  Then next week.  It all adds up pretty quickly.  Don’t think about this being a diet, think about this as a change of lifestyle – a permanent change of lifestyle – because that is just what it is.  Once you have reached your goal weight you still need to eat properly and exercise daily to maintain your weight loss.  Just perhaps not so intensely as you are doing now.
